Working the land on Martha’s Vineyard comes with its own unique rewards and challenges. To build a more reliable food system for our island, we joined forces with our friends at Merry Farm. By pooling our resources and farming wisdom, we’re cultivating a joint approach to growing honest, high-quality food for our community.

Who Is Merry Farm?

Located in West Tisbury, Merry Farm shares our deep passion for seasonal eating, sustainable practices, and community connection. Like us, their team is committed to growing produce that honors our unique landscape and prioritizes flavor over efficiency. When two farm teams share the same values, coming together just makes sense. 

How We Work Together

Rather than operating in isolated silos, Milkweed Farm (in Chilmark) and Merry Farm (in West Tisbury) work as a collaborative agricultural team.

Joint CSA Program:

We co-host a joint Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share, bringing the best of both farms straight to your kitchen table.

Shared Labor & Resources:

From spring planting to peak summer harvests, our teams lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

Coordinated Crop Planning:

We plan our growing seasons in tandem to complement one another’s harvests.
